Job Description

This position is responsible for daily tasks as outlined in The Wash Clinic Laundromat Manual and assigned by management.

Job Summary:

The Wash Clinic Laundromat Laundry Technician is a team member responsible to deliver enriching experiences for our customers. The Wash Clinic Laundromat Laundry Technician will report to the Assistant Manager. We want someone who is excited to have a steady, well-paying job and enjoys coming to work to have the chance to positively impact someone’s day positively on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

The Wash Clinic Laundromat Laundry Technician is responsible for:

Must possess valid driver’s license
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and carry short distances
Proficient in maintenance and repair of electrical, plumbing, and laundry equipment
Routine maintenance tasks of laundry facility including Drain Basin & Dryers
Routine maintenance issues
o Make minor repairs for facility & fixtures
o Routine filter cleaning/replacement
Proficient with all safety, shutoffs and distribution points for facility
Work with and assist contractors or installers for equipment installation
Be willing to be available for on-call (bonuses and incentives will apply)

Qualifications

Prefer Bi-lingual speaking (English and Spanish);
Must be able to E-Verify;
Must pass drug / background checks;
Ability to carry laundry bags weighing up to 40 lbs.
Willingness to engage in interpersonal conflict resolution and accountability;
Commitment to a culture of service, values, collaboration, and fun;
Exceptionally strong communication, relational, and collaborative skills;
Excellent writing and reading skills;
Strong attention to detail;
High competence in Microsoft Office, email communications, SmartPhones, iPads, Apps, etc.;
Have reliable form of transportation and communication.

Experience

Customer Service: 2 years (Preferred)
Laundry or dry clean: 2 years (Preferred)
Education: Two- or four-year college degree OR equivalent experience;
